Getting ready for our first trip of 2019! It's hurry up and wait for good weather.

We originally planned to spend 6-8 weeks in Texas. We have Thousand Trails parks there that we love, not to mention the fact that we stay for free. Kind of free (we have annual dues). Then we thought, as long as we're headed that way, we may as well continue on to Memphis. Oh, and then why not all the way to the east coast??? I've never been on the east coast.

Then we started hearing how severe the weather has been through the Midwest.

Long story short, the plans have changed from going to Vancouver Island to Florida, from Montana to the Grand Canyon. For now, it's back to Texas. We are spending 3 or 4 days at a lake here in Arizona with friends to fish and give the weather another week to calm down before setting out to TX.
